Austria’s biggest fancy dress party – Mayerhofen, Austria

Snowbombing in Mayrhofen, Austria. The biggest, craziest music festival in the snow. 2012 features Snoop Dogg, Fatboy Slim, DJ Shadow plus many many more. Not only music, this party features everything from secret backcountry parties, pie fight night, a towering igloo hosting a rave, and Austria’s biggest fancy dress party! All this amongst some fantastic spring riding conditions. Sure to be an experience like no other! April 9-14 this Spring party takes place attracting people from all over Europe.

 Kokanee Snow Dreams Festival, Fernie, BC, Canada

Closer to WhereiSki HQ with less excuses to miss out is the Kokanee Snow Dreams Festival held at Fernie. This has been voted the best deck party in Canada by Ski Canada magazine. An all day event that goes well into the night with The Kokanee Glacier Girls hosting weird and wonderful events around the outdoor BBQ and beer garden. Party hard with Fernie’s legendary “Griz” as you check out bands, DJ’s and much much more. Of course the fact that it’s usually dumping down at the end of Jan in Fernie doesn’t hurt either. Having rocked last season, the creative combo Rocswell DJs return to Fernie for kokanee snowdreams 2012. January 28 2012 this party kicks off. Last but not least, Whistler – the resort that’s been showing us how to party in the pow since way back. This fest is so overloaded with parties, live music, arts and sports events that it has to span 10 days. The 2012 Telus Ski and Snowboard fetival is featuring live music from Lyrics Born, The Cat Empire, Broken Social Scene and Ozomatli to name just a small few. There is something for everyone during this festival which also features a film festival, photography exhibition, fashion shows, demo-testing, park jams, and even a dog show…yes really, a party and show for canines. You do not want to miss out! This huge celebration brings whats shaping up to be another awesome winter to an end from April 13-22.
